We were delighted to have the Goodfellow honor guard open our veterans ceremony last night at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. They came two weeks ago for a full run practice session. Last night they came one hour early to place all of the military branches flags. Then at 7 pm sharp, they presented the colors for both the American flag and the Texas flag, along with the Air Force flag. The ceremony honored 78 veterans and surviving spouses of our church. The ceremony lasted two hours and they stayed the entire time. They received applause from our attendees for their presence and duty. We were very pleased with these young men and women volunteering their time to honor our Vietnam veterans. Thank you so much for your service.
